The design features 25 movement logos and icons, both historic and present. It pays tribute to the movements that have inspired and informed our work at Waging Nonviolence over the years.

Some symbols are more widely known and others that are more obscure. They include official organizational logos, as well as remixed iconic movement imagery. Our hope is that it will serve as a conversation starter, with people swapping stories about the different symbols they can identify. And in the process, we can take stock of the power and impact of so many different movements that have shaped our world for the better.
